Meeting Timer reminds you about your meetings. Your calendar stays on your own devices. We don't collect it, sell it or share it.
What Meeting Timer accesses
When you sign in with Google, you allow Meeting Timer to:
- Read your calendar events (title, time, video link, organizer and guest list) for the next few hours, so it can remind you at the right moment.
- See the list of your calendars, so you can choose which ones trigger reminders.
- Save a small hidden note on your own copy of an event when you join, snooze or dismiss its reminder. This is how your other devices know to stop reminding you. The note is private to you and isn't visible to other guests.
- See your email address, to show which account a meeting belongs to.
Where your data goes
- Calendar data is fetched directly from Google to the device you use and stays on that device. It is never sent to the developer or to any other server.
- Meeting Timer has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
- Sign-in tokens are stored only on your device, so it can stay signed in.
- If you choose "Running late", Meeting Timer opens your own email app with a draft to the meeting guests. Nothing is sent unless you send it.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Meeting Timer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the reminder features described above. It isn't used for advertising, isn't sold, and isn't read by people.
Removing your data
- Remove an account in Meeting Timer's Settings, or uninstall the app. Its data on that device is deleted. On Windows, the uninstaller asks whether to remove your settings too.
- You can revoke Meeting Timer's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Children
Meeting Timer isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
